In 1995, mechanical surveys<\/strong> were carried out on plot 163, which allowed the exhumation of archaeological structures, including the funerary enclosure called Mausoleum 1. Given the importance of the discovery, the team formed by Pilar S\u00e1ez de Alb\u00e9niz, Rosa Armend\u00e1riz and Txaro Mateo, proposed the first archaeological excavation campaign<\/strong>, which took place from May 22 to June 21, 1995 and which allowed the discovery of two funerary enclosures and two vessels in the necropolis area<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
