1994an, Pilar S\u00e1ez de Alb\u00e9niz, Rosa Armend\u00e1riz eta Txaro Mateok burutu zituzten Eslavako udalerriaren zati bat hartu zuten prospekzio sistematikoak<\/strong> (herriaren iparraldeko eta hegoaldeko birpopulazio baso-eremuak baztertu ziren), horrek ingurune hurbileneko enklabearen testuinguru historikoaren oinarriak ezartzeko balio izan zuen, eta Paleolitotik Aro Modernora bitarteko arku kronologiko zabalean datatutako 79 aztarnategi eskaini zituzten guztira. Era berean, Santa Criz mendiaren oinean ehorzketa-hondarrak dokumentatu ziren.<\/p>\n
